Cummins’ pavilion at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, showcased its comprehensive portfolio of low and zero-emission technologies. At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, Cummins unveiled its latest advancements in power technology, the HELM (Higher Efficiency, Lower Emissions, Multiple Fuels) engine platforms. This launch of the innovative L10 engine, an advanced Hydrogen Fuel Delivery System (FDS), and the B6.7N natural gas engine highlighted Cummins’ commitment to sustainability and its understanding of the Indian commercial vehicle market.
Advanced solutions for a changing industry The HELM platforms showcase Cummins’ vision for a more sustainable future in engine technology. The modular platform supports advanced diesel, natural gas, and hydrogen variants, enabling customers to choose solutions that align with their operational and environmental goals. According to Jane Beaman, Vice President of Global On-Highway and Pickup Business, Cummins Inc., “Our world is at a pivotal moment in its journey to lower emissions. In line with our Destination Zero strategy, we are committed to supporting industry-wide decarbonisation through a portfolio of diverse power solutions.”
Beaman emphasised the dual focus of innovation and practicality in the showcased products, stating, “These innovations not only future-proof our customers' businesses but also set the stage for the next era of smarter, cleaner, and integrated power.”
L10 engine Built on the HELM platform, the L10 engine offers a combination of high performance and reduced emissions. Designed to comply with BSVI, BSVII and Euro 7 standards, the engine also paves the way for future-ready, lower-emission solutions.
Hydrogen fuel delivery system (FDS) Addressing a critical need in India’s hydrogen economy, the advanced FDS features 350-bar and 700-bar hydrogen storage systems. With Type IV on-vehicle storage vessels, it marks significant progress in facilitating hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles.
B6.7N natural gas engine The B6.7N engine combines diesel-equivalent performance with reduced carbon emissions, making it a practical solution for fleets transitioning to CNG and LNG fuels.
