Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. launched the M1KA 1.0 electric truck priced at INR 6,99,000 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The company also showcased the upcoming M1KA 3.0 and the All New 2025 Stream City electric passenger vehicle. Pre-bookings for the M1KA 1.0 are open at INR 49,999, with deliveries starting in April 2025. The launch aims to address the growing demand for affordable and sustainable commercial electric vehicles in India.

The Indian electric truck market is expanding rapidly due to several factors. These include government incentives, increasing fuel costs, and a growing focus on sustainability. Businesses are increasingly seeking eco-friendly alternatives to traditional diesel trucks for last-mile deliveries, small business operations, and urban logistics. The 1-tonne category, in particular, is seeing increased demand.

M1KA 1.0

The M1KA 1.0 is designed to address the increasing demands of the commercial vehicle sector. The truck aims to contribute to India's transition towards a more environmentally friendly transportation landscape. It is built with a focus on performance, durability, and affordability, aiming to be a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution for businesses.

The M1KA 1.0 offers best-in-industry performance and best-in-class fast charging technology. It provides a range of 90, 120, and 170 km/charge with 10.24, 15, and 21 KWH fast charging, respectively. This feature is intended to maximize daily trips and earnings.

The M1KA 1.0 features a water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor. This motor delivers a peak torque of 67 Nm, designed for heavy-duty applications. The truck also boasts a high payload capacity of 850 kgs.

Charging options for the M1KA 1.0 include fast charging and, soon, swappable battery technology. The truck comes with a warranty of 5 years or 1.5 Lakh Kms, whichever comes first. Attractive financing schemes are also available.

Manufacturing of M1KA 1.0

Omega Seiki Pvt. Limited's M1KA electric truck range is currently manufactured in Faridabad. A new truck manufacturing facility is being established in Chakan, Pune, by the end of 2025. OSPL’s current production capacity of 5000 units per year is expected to increase to 25000 units by the end of 2025.

Alongside the M1KA 1.0, Omega Seiki also introduced the M1KA 3.0. This model offers advanced features and superior range, aiming to set a new benchmark in the Indian electric truck market.

The All New 2025 Stream City, an updated version of the company's existing electric passenger vehicle, was also showcased. This model combines style, technology, and improved efficiency, offering an alternative to traditional gasoline-powered cars. The updated features include an On-Board Charger, LED Headlight, IOT, RPass and TFT Display Compatibility, 12-inch wheels, and fast charging battery options of 10.2 kWh/ 15 kWh, charging in just 20 minutes. It also offers battery swapping technology.
