CarDekho expands its footprint in UAE with Raya Holdings

CarDekho aims to create a seamless transition between online and offline car buying experiences, the company said in a media release.
CarDekho Group, an auto-tech and fintech company, is expanding its operations into the UAE market through a partnership with Raya Holdings, under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The expansion aims to replicate the company’s successful Indian model, offering a comprehensive automotive ecosystem to connect buyers, brands, and dealers in the UAE. The company aims to leverage its digital platforms and technology to enhance the car buying journey and cater to the growing digital needs of UAE consumers.

According to the company, it will introduce its integrated ecosystem of services, including advertising, lead management, and digital content solutions, to the UAE market. The company intends to bridge the gap between online platforms and physical dealerships. This will offer a more efficient and personalised car-buying experience, catering to the digitally savvy consumers in the region.

Commitment to UAE’s Vision 2030

The UAE's tech-savvy consumer base, increasingly relying on digital platforms for their automotive needs, presents a significant opportunity for CarDekho. The company will tailor its AI-driven insights and lead management systems to meet the specific requirements of the UAE market. CarDekho aims to create a seamless transition between online and offline car buying experiences, the company said in a media release.

CarDekho’s entry into the UAE signifies a key step in the company's global expansion strategy, following its presence in Southeast Asia. The company is committed to leveraging technology to enhance the car buying experience and cater to the evolving needs of customers in the region.

CarDekho's operations in Southeast Asia include the OTO brand in Indonesia, Carmudi, and Zigwheels in the Philippines. The company intends to replicate this successful model in the UAE.
