The new X3 introduces BMW’s latest iDrive system with QuickSelect and Operating System 9, offering intuitive touch and voice controls.
BMW India launched the all-new BMW X3, the fourth-generation avatar of its iconic Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), at the Auto Expo 2025. Produced locally at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai, the new X3 combines monolithic proportions, advanced technologies, and a sustainable design ethos. The model is available in both petrol and diesel variants, with prices starting at INR 75.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will commence in April 2025.

Dominating the segment with monolithic proportions

The all-new BMW X3 boasts the longest, tallest, and widest dimensions in its segment, with a length of 4,755 mm, a width of 1,920 mm, and a height of 1,660 mm. Its bold and upright stance is amplified by a reimagined kidney grille with BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting, adaptive LED headlights, and a dynamic light carpet. The M Sport package, standard across variants, adds sporty elements such as larger air intakes, black kidney grille bars, and aerodynamic enhancements.

The X3’s exterior is available in five premium paint options: Dune Grey Metallic, Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Individual Tanzanite Blue, and Black Sapphire Metallic. Customers can choose from two new Veganza upholstery options: Calm Beige and Espresso Brown, crafted from sustainable materials.

Luxurious interiors with futuristic technology

The interior of the X3 is a testament to BMW’s commitment to luxury and innovation. A new BMW Curved Display combines a 12.3-inch information cluster with a 14.9-inch control screen, complemented by the BMW Interaction Bar and customizable ambient lighting. Standard features include a head-up display, active seat ventilation, and the largest panoramic glass roof in its segment.

Passengers in the rear benefit from increased knee room and enhanced entry comfort. The interior also features Travel & Comfort Systems and roller sunblinds for the rear windows, ensuring convenience and privacy. The Harman Kardon surround sound system with 15 speakers offers an immersive audio experience.

Powerful performance and advanced driving dynamics

The all-new BMW X3 is equipped with TwinPower Turbo engines, offering outstanding performance and efficiency. The petrol variant, xDrive20i, delivers 190 hp and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. The diesel variant, xDrive20d, produces 197 hp, achieving the same sprint in 7.7 seconds. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and a 48V mild-hybrid system for improved efficiency and responsiveness.

BMW xDrive, the brand’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system, ensures superior traction and agility across terrains. Adaptive suspension, dynamic traction control, and hill descent control further enhance driving comfort and safety.

Cutting-edge digital features

The new X3 introduces BMW’s latest iDrive system with QuickSelect and Operating System 9, offering intuitive touch and voice controls. The MyBMW app integrates seamlessly with the car, enabling functions such as remote locking, digital key sharing, and automated parking. Standard driver assistance features include Active Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Parking Assistant Plus with a surround-view camera.

Sustainability and ownership benefits

The all-new X3 embraces sustainability with eco-friendly materials and efficient manufacturing processes. Ownership is made convenient with service packages starting at 3 years/40,000 km, extendable up to 10 years/2,00,000 km. The BMW 360° finance plan offers flexible monthly installments starting at INR 77,999, along with an assured buyback option.

Redefining the premium SAV segment

BMW Group India President and CEO Vikram Pawah stated, “The all-new BMW X3 marks a new era in luxury, performance, and technology. With its striking design, advanced features, and outstanding driving dynamics, the X3 continues to set benchmarks in the premium SAV segment.”

The BMW X3 has been a global best-seller in its class for over two decades, and its latest iteration promises to uphold its legacy while embracing a sustainable, future-ready ethos.
