JCB India, a top player in the earthmoving and construction equipment sector, has launched its latest innovation, the JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master Tracked Excavator, at its advanced factory in Pune.
This machine not only enters the Indian market but will also be exported globally.
The JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master is designed to be 14 percent more fuel-efficient than its predecessor, making it a great choice for cost-conscious customers. It has undergone rigorous testing to meet the demands of Indian working conditions, resulting in lower operating costs.
Key to its efficiency is the use of JCB’s Intelliflow Hydraulics technology, which optimizes hydraulic performance. The excavator provides real-time fuel consumption data through an onboard interface and JCB’s innovative LiveLink remote monitoring system.
Customers could save around Rs 2.90 lakh annually due to improved fuel efficiency. Additionally, a new auto engine idle stop feature prevents fuel wastage when the engine is idling for long periods.
Speaking at the launch, JCB India CEO Deepak Shetty emphasized that innovation is vital to their operations in India. He stated, “This new machine has been engineered to enhance the profitability of our customers through a significant reduction in fuel consumption of 14%. It will lead to a better return on their investments in today’s competitive working environment.”
Not only is this excavator 5 percent more productive, but it also features a Power Boost function for tough tasks and a quieter engine for comfortable operations. The JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master excels in Rock Breaker applications and includes LED lights for better visibility at work sites.
Mr. Shetty added, “At JCB, our customers are our priority. This new machine will help tackle rising fuel costs, supporting our customers in building world-class infrastructure. These fuel savings align with the government’s focus on reducing fossil fuel use, benefiting both the economy and the environment.”
JCB India manufactures a variety of excavators ranging from 1 tonne to 38 tonnes. To date, over 45,000 JCB Tracked Excavators have been produced in India, trusted by leading infrastructure development companies.
These machines are instrumental in projects of national importance, contributing to India’s growth as a robust global economy.
