Zelio Ebikes launched an upgraded version of its X-Men series, the X-Men 2.0 electric scooter, on November 12, 2024, in India. The company aims to target urban commuters with this new launch, offering them an efficient and stylish mode of transport across four variants with varying battery options and price points. Zelio Ebikes plans to expand its dealership network to 400 by March 2025 to support its growth strategy.

Battery, race and more

The X-Men 2.0 electric scooter is available in two battery options: lead acid and lithium-ion. The lead acid variants include a 60V 32AH priced at INR 71,500 and a 72V 32AH priced at INR 74,000. The lithium-ion variants include a 60V 30AH priced at INR 87,500 and a 74V 32AH priced at INR 91,500.

The scooter boasts a top speed of 25 km/h and a range of up to 100 kilometers on a single charge. It is equipped with a 60/72V BLDC motor that consumes 1.5 units of electricity per charge. The X-Men 2.0 has a gross weight of 90 kg and a loading capacity of 180 kg.

Charging time for the lithium-ion battery variants is 4-5 hours, while the lead acid variants take 8-10 hours for a full charge. The scooter comes in four color options: Green, White, Silver, and Red.

Features

The X-Men 2.0 is equipped with safety features such as front and rear disc brakes, alloy wheels in the front, and a hub motor in the rear. For rider comfort, the scooter features front telescopic and rear spring-loaded shock absorbers. It also boasts an anti-theft alarm, central locking, reverse gear, parking switch, auto-repair switch, USB charger, and a digital display. Zelio offers a warranty of one year or 10,000 kilometers for both battery variants.
