Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 5 million unit sales in Karnataka. Since commencing operations in June 2001, HMSI has grown to become a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in the state, a feat that highlights the company's dedication to customer satisfaction and advanced technology. This milestone serves as a testament to the trust and loyalty of Honda's customers in Karnataka, the company said in a media release.

Diverse range
To mark the occasion, HMSI highlighted its commitment to addressing the diverse requirements of its customer base. With an extensive lineup of motorcycles and scooters, the brand aims to meet the needs of a wide array of riders. Presently, HMSI operates over 400 network touchpoints throughout Karnataka, including 12 BigWing outlets. The Activa and Shine models remain the top sellers in the state.

HMSI’s extensive product portfolio includes four scooters: Activa and Dio in the 110cc category, and Activa 125 and Dio 125. In the motorcycle range, HMSI offers nine models, spanning from 100-110cc (Shine 100, CD 110 Dream Deluxe, and Livo), to 125cc (Shine 125 and SP125), 160cc (Unicorn and SP160), and 180-200cc (Hornet 2.0 and CB200X).

HMSI also caters to the premium motorcycle market through its BigWing Topline and BigWing formats. While BigWing Topline covers 200cc to 1800cc models in top metro areas, BigWing focuses exclusively on mid-size motorcycles, ranging from 200cc to 500cc. Their premium range includes models like the CB350, H’ness CB350, CB350RS, CB300F (also available in a Flex-Fuel version), CB300R, NX500, XL750 Transalp, Africa Twin, and Gold Wing Tour. Both the Hornet 2.0 and CB200X are now available in BigWing showrooms.
