ThunderPlus said that it plans to continue expanding its network of high-speed EV charging stations across India.EV charging solutions provider, ThunderPlus, has launched its first fast-charging station at the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) headquarters in Hyderabad.
NMDC, a Navaratna PSU renowned for its commitment to sustainable mining practices, has partnered with ThunderPlus to install the new fast-charging facility at its corporate office premises.
Convenience for EV users
The charging station offers electric vehicle users an efficient and reliable charging experience. With the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure in India, this facility plays a vital role in promoting clean mobility and reducing carbon emissions, the company said.
The fast-charging station will cater to both private and commercial EV users.
The station was officially opened by B Mohan Kumar, executive director at NMDC, who was joined by other dignitaries at the event. Kumar praised the swift development of the facility, acknowledging ThunderPlus’ dedication in creating a fully operational charging station with comprehensive Charging Point Operator (CPO) support.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in advancing sustainable mobility and ensuring a greener future for all. This is just the beginning of many more such facilities to be established at our other locations, thus reinforcing our commitment to responsible mining and transportation,” Kumar stated.
Rajeev YSR, CEO, ThunderPlus and Group CMO, ETO Motors, said, “This charging station is a significant milestone in our collective mission to reduce carbon emissions and promote green energy solutions. We have also developed innovative solutions capable of generating power from methanol and ethanol instantly, up to 400kWh, to charge electric vehicles."
