Logistics startup Pickkup raises $500K to expand electric fleet

The company’s goal is to build a sustainable, tech-driven logistics ecosystem, reducing carbon emissions in an increasingly eco-conscious industry.
Pickkup, a logistics startup focused on mid-mile and last-mile delivery solutions, has raised $500K in its seed round. The round was led by We Founder Circle (WFC), with participation from angel investors across India, Australia, and the US.

The investment will support the company’s plans to expand its electric vehicle (EV) fleet, strengthen its team, and invest in advanced technology to improve logistics efficiency. Pickkup aims to decarbonise the light commercial vehicle (LCV) delivery segment, leveraging electric vehicles to reduce environmental impact.

Sustainability

Ankush Sharma, co-Founder and CEO of Pickkup, stated that the funding would help optimise fleet utilisation and ensure electric vehicles are operational for as many hours as possible each day. "With this funding, we aim to maximise the operational capacity of our EVs, which is key to improving both efficiency and affordability," he said.

The company’s goal is to build a sustainable, tech-driven logistics ecosystem, reducing carbon emissions in an increasingly eco-conscious industry.

Neeraj Tyagi, co-Founder and CEO of We Founder Circle, highlighted Pickkup's potential in reshaping the logistics sector with its focus on sustainability and operational efficiency. WFC has previously backed successful ventures in the logistics sector, including Zypp Electric, Evify, and Traqo.

Pickkup, founded in Chandigarh by Ankush Sharma, Chandra Shekhar, and Upma Sharma, is committed to using a fully electric fleet to enhance delivery efficiency and support decarbonisation efforts in logistics.
