Renault India has announced the availability of CNG retrofitment kits for all variants of the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger, except for automatic and turbo models. This move aims to broaden the company's customer base and emphasise its commitment to eco-friendly transportation.

The kits come with a three-year warranty and will initially be available in five states before expanding nationwide.

Pricing for the kits is INR 79,500 for the Triber and Kiger, and INR 75,000 for the Kwid.

The rollout of the CNG kits will begin in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. These states represent 65% of the CNG market. Renault plans to expand availability to the rest of India in the following months.

The CNG kits are fitted by a preferred vendor, using a homologated kit meeting all safety and performance standards. The fitment process is standardised across the Renault network to ensure uniformity and quality. Renault said that it has conducted thorough testing to guarantee the CNG kits do not compromise driving performance.
