Online car purchases in Telangana have stabilised at 34% in 2024, indicating growing consumer confidence in digital transactions for used cars. The share of women buying used cars has risen from 9% in 2022 to 17% in 2024. Spinny attributes this rise to their transparent and quality-assured process.

While popular brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Tata remain top choices, newer models like the Kwid have gained popularity in 2024. This replaces previously favored models like the Elite i20. The demand for automatic transmissions has increased from 19% in 2022 to 25% in 2024.

Luxury car sales, almost non-existent in Telangana for Spinny in 2022-2023, saw an uptick in 2024. Models like the Compass, GLA, and X1 are gaining traction with buyers.

Spinny observed a 50% surge in vehicle inspections in Telangana during 2024. This indicates increased interest in the used car market. Home deliveries have also rebounded to 35% in 2024, after a decline in 2023. This improvement reflects better logistics and growing customer confidence.

Cities like Vijayawada, Warangal, and Secunderabad contribute significantly to Hyderabad's used car market growth. In Hyderabad, 4 out of 10 customers book a car through Spinny. The market has grown by almost 30% year-on-year, the company said.

About 20% of Spinny's sales in Telangana originate from customers outside Hyderabad. This includes buyers from rural areas up to 300 km away, facilitated by same-day deliveries. Loan approvals have also streamlined, with 25-30% of cases approved within two hours.
