Toyota Kirloskar Motor has started bookings for the new Land Cruiser 300. This latest iteration of the iconic SUV builds upon a 70-year legacy. The Land Cruiser 300 is priced at INR 2,31,00,000 (ex-showroom) for ‘ZX Grade’ and INR 2,41,00,000 (ex-showroom) for ‘GR-S Grade’.

Two grades are available: the ZX and the GR-S. Both are powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 engine. This new engine provides improvements in efficiency, torque output, and fuel economy compared to the previous generation.

Features

The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers smooth acceleration and optimised power. The Land Cruiser 300 utilises the TNGA-F platform with a ladder-frame construction. This makes the vehicle lighter and more rigid, enhancing agility.

Toyota’s AWD Integrated Management (AIM) system adapts to changing road conditions. This ensures superior stability and control. The Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) and Multi-Terrain Monitor aid off-road navigation. These features provide precise control and guidance in challenging environments like sand, mud, snow, and rocky terrain.

Toyota i-Connect Telematics provides remote access to vehicle diagnostics, lock/unlock functions, and real-time tracking. A Head-Up Display (HUD) projects key vehicle information onto the windshield. The GR-S variant features an off-road-tuned suspension. This includes differential locks and improved shock absorbers for handling extreme off-road conditions.

The Land Cruiser 300 is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0). This suite of driver-assistance technologies includes Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

Adaptive High Beam System (AHS) optimises nighttime visibility. A 360-degree panoramic view monitor assists with parking and maneuvering. Ten SRS airbags are standard. Additional safety features include Electronic Stability Control, Downhill Assist Control, and a Rear Seat Reminder Function.

Exterior design

The exterior design retains the Land Cruiser’s signature muscular stance. Updates include a bolder grille, a sculpted bumper, and sleeker styling elements. High ground clearance and a meticulously engineered body reinforce its off-road capabilities.

LED headlamps with Adaptive High Beam System (AHS) enhance visibility. The GR-S variant features black exterior accents, a more aggressive bumper, and exclusive GR badging.

Two color options are available: Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. Precious White Pearl utilises a multi-layered base coat to achieve high brightness. Attitude Black uses premium black mica for a bold appearance.

Interior design

The interior features high-quality leather upholstery, soft-touch materials, and elegant trim. The driver-focused cockpit includes a digital instrument cluster and an advanced infotainment system.

Eight-way power-adjustable front seats with memory function are standard. The GR-S variant offers GRS Black and Black and Dark Red upholstery options. The ZX variant offers Neutral Beige and Black interior color options.

The Land Cruiser 300 features a 31.24cm touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. A JBL premium 14-speaker audio system is also included.
