Eastman Auto joins hands with Urja Mobility to develop advanced lithium-ion battery solutions for EVs

The collaboration will focus on developing and deploying advanced lithium-ion battery technology specifically designed for the Indian EV sector.
Eastman Auto & Power has partnered with Urja Mobility to develop and deploy advanced lithium-ion battery technology for electric vehicles in India.

Eastman Auto & Power, a leader in the Indian energy storage sector, will supply over 20,000 lithium-ion batteries to Urja Mobility.

The collaboration will help in accelerating the adoption of electric mobility in India and contribute to the country's sustainability goals.

The partnership aims at combining Eastman's expertise in lithium-ion batteries with Urja Mobility's battery leasing solution for electric three-wheelers.

Customised solutions for India

Their union will focus on developing and deploying advanced lithium-ion battery technology specifically designed for the Indian EV sector. The integration of Urja Mobility’s IoT and software solutions into Eastman's batteries will allow for remote monitoring, performance analysis, and improved battery management.
