GoMechanic to invest INR 100 cr for expanding two-wheeler service operations

GoMechanic will leverage its existing automotive servicing expertise and technology to create a scalable service ecosystem.
GoMechanic, recently acquired by Servizzy, is investing INR 100 crore over two years to expand its two-wheeler servicing operations across India. This expansion aims to address the current fragmented and inconsistent service quality within the two-wheeler market by providing affordable, standardised, and high-quality service. The company plans a two-phased rollout, beginning with major metropolitan areas and subsequently expanding to other cities.

GoMechanic will leverage its existing automotive servicing expertise and technology to create a scalable service ecosystem. The company aims to bring structure, efficiency, and trust to the two-wheeler servicing sector. This investment is driven by the significant market share of two-wheelers in India, representing over 75% of total vehicle sales.

Initial expansion plans

The initial rollout targets major metropolitan hubs, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Thane, and Pune. The second phase will extend services to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, and other cities across India. GoMechanic intends to onboard millions of two-wheeler owners within the first year and expand its reach to over 100 cities.

GoMechanic’s two-wheeler services will encompass a comprehensive range of maintenance and repair solutions. This includes routine services like oil changes and brake pad replacements. It also extends to more complex procedures such as advanced diagnostics, engine overhauls, and performance tuning.

The company aims to provide a one-stop solution for all two-wheeler needs. GoMechanic emphasises the use of genuine spare parts and highly trained technicians. This ensures quality, convenience, and affordability for customers.

"Two-wheelers are the backbone of Indian mobility, yet servicing remains unorganised. With 2Wheels by GoMechanic, we bring structure, efficiency, and trust to the market. Our goal is to make bike servicing as seamless as booking a cab—affordable, reliable, and just a few clicks away. This is a game-changer for millions of riders, and we are thrilled to lead this transformation," stated Himanshu Arora, CEO and Co-Founder of GoMechanic.

Operations

The current two-wheeler servicing industry in India faces several challenges. Service quality is inconsistent. The service network is fragmented. Affordability remains a concern for many two-wheeler owners.

Local garages, which handle the majority of servicing, often have varying skill levels, use unverified spare parts, and lack standardised pricing. This makes it difficult for riders to find reliable and cost-effective service options.

Organised service centers, while offering a more standardised approach, are often limited in number, expensive, and primarily cater to high-end models. This leaves a significant gap in the market for servicing everyday commuters’ two-wheelers.

GoMechanic is addressing these challenges by implementing structured, technology-driven solutions that standardise servicing practices. The company utilises trained professionals, genuine spare parts, and AI-driven diagnostics. Its digital-first approach ensures high-quality, transparent, and affordable maintenance for all two-wheeler owners.

"At GoMechanic, we have always been at the forefront of automotive service innovation. With “2Wheels” expanding into the two-wheeler market is a natural step in our mission to provide standardised, high-quality, and affordable servicing to every Indian rider. With our INR 100 crore investment in two years, we are setting new benchmarks, ensuring that two-wheeler owners receive the same reliability and transparency that car owners have come to expect from us," mentioned Muskan Kakkar, COO & Co-Founder of GoMechanic.

GoMechanic offers cost-effective service packages, doorstep convenience, and a wide network of workshops. This creates a scalable model that modernises and transforms India's two-wheeler servicing industry. The company’s goal is to bring the same level of reliability and transparency to two-wheeler servicing that car owners have come to expect.
