Motherson, a global engineering, manufacturing, and assembly conglomerate, is joining forces with Sanko Japan, a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions. This collaboration aligns with Motherson's goal of becoming a preferred sustainable solutions provider worldwide. The focus is on developing reusable and sustainable packaging, contributing to Motherson's decarbonization efforts.

Founded in 1951, Sanko is Japan's top manufacturer of plastic material handling products and a leader in sustainable packaging solutions. The company serves diverse industries and boasts strong engineering capabilities, including an in-house technical center. Sanko develops durable, reusable, and fully recyclable products.

Strategy for sustainable solutions
This joint venture is expected to lead to significant cost reductions in overall logistics spending through greater material handling efficiencies. The partnership combines Sanko's engineering expertise and decades of innovation with Motherson's broad presence in India and Europe. The aim is to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions for both automotive and non-automotive sectors.
