Hero MotoCorp announced strong financial results for the third quarter (October-December 2024) of FY25, reporting revenue exceeding INR 10,000 crore for the third consecutive quarter. The company saw growth in profits, market share gains, and record retail sales, driven by strong performance in electric vehicles (EVs) and its global business. An interim dividend was declared, and new product launches are expected to further boost growth in the coming fiscal year.

Hero MotoCorp reported revenue from operations of INR 10,211 crore for the third quarter. EBITDA margin expanded to 14.5%, while Profit After Tax (PAT) reached INR 1,203 crore, marking a 12% year-over-year increase. Consolidated revenue and PAT for the quarter stood at INR 10,260 crore and INR 1,108 crore, respectively. The company declared an interim dividend of INR 100 per share, equivalent to 5000%.

Leading across segments

The company gained market share in the 100cc segment with Splendor and in the 125cc segment with Xtreme 125R and Super Splendor. Record quarterly retail sales were driven by the highest-ever festive season retail sales.

Hero MotoCorp recently unveiled four new products at Bharat Mobility 2025, aimed at strengthening its presence in the premium and scooter segments. Deliveries for these new products will begin in March 2025.

VIDA and global growth

Growth was further fueled by the EV and global businesses. VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s EV brand, achieved its highest-ever monthly retail sales and increased its market share during the quarter. The company’s global business also outpaced industry growth, with Bangladesh and Colombia leading the charge.

“Our performance this quarter and fiscal year reflects the successful execution of our strategic priorities. With strong year-to-date results in both top-line and bottom-line growth, we have achieved our highest-ever nine-month revenue and profits,” said Vivek Anand, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Hero MotoCorp.

Anand further expressed confidence that the new product launches will drive growth in the premium and scooter segments in the next fiscal year.
