The top motorcyle maker Suzuki has added a new model to its Indian fleet. It has launched a middle-weight sportbike named GSX-8R. The vehicle has been released at the starting price of Rs 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company has offered the motorcycle in three colour options – Metallic Matte Sword Silver, Metallic Triton Blue and Metallic Matte Black No.2. It can be purchased via authorised dealerships nationwide.

All About Exterior

Speaking about the overall design, the latest offering from Suzuki offers a sporty yet aggressive road presence. It comes with a hexagonal LED headlamp, complimented by a decent-sized windscreen and cowling, and has been treated with a split seating arrangement. The incline riding position and clip-on handlebar are there to offer a rooted riding experience on multiple terrains.

Styling and Notable Features

The motorcyle also has received a sharp-looking fairing on either side, featuring bold graphics in a red and black colour combination. Apart from this, the motorcycle offers a long list of robust features. The list includes traction control, low rpm assist, easy start, and 5-inch digital instrument console that provides all the bike-related information.

Engine and Fuel Tank

At the heart, GSX-8R uses a 776cc, parallel-twin engine, generating a maximum power of 82 BHP at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike weighs 205 kg and has a decent a 14 litre fuel tank.
