Droom marks 10 years with the launch of AI-powered platform

Droom's focus on technology and AI is allowing it to create a comprehensive ecosystem for vehicle owners and dealers.
Droom, an Indian automobile marketplace, has marked its 10th anniversary with the launch of MyDroom, an AI-powered platform aimed at enhancing vehicle ownership in India. The launch event, attended by prominent figures such as Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd., and the musician Badshah, who is also an investor in Droom reflected on Droom's achievements and its role in driving technological innovation within the automotive sector.

Founded in 2014, Droom has evolved from a start-up to a platform that has supported over 2.5 million customers. Over the past decade, the company has sold more than 580,000 vehicles valued at USD 7.3 billion and facilitated 4.5 million listings. Droom’s network includes 23,000 dealers across 1,176 cities, and it currently attracts 16 million monthly active users with 16.2 million app downloads, the company said in a media release.

AI-powered platform for vehicle management

At the heart of this event was the introduction of MyDroom, a platform designed to simplify vehicle management. The AI-powered tool offers services such as predictive maintenance, real-time tracking, and tailored recommendations. By integrating a range of vehicle-related services, including repairs, roadside assistance, and car washes, MyDroom aims to streamline the vehicle ownership experience.

Naveen Jindal, the event’s Guest of Honour, commented on the importance of innovation in driving economic and social change in India. He praised the role of entrepreneurship and emphasised the potential for growth through collaboration. Jindal also shared his optimism for the future of Haryana, predicting that Gurugram would be a fully developed city within the next five years.

Badshah, Droom’s brand ambassador and investor, spoke about his long-standing association with the company. He expressed enthusiasm for the MyDroom platform, highlighting its potential to transform how vehicle owners manage their cars.

Founder and CEO Sandeep Aggarwal expressed his gratitude to the company's team, customers, and partners. He described the launch of MyDroom as a significant development in the company’s trajectory, one that would leverage AI to provide a more personalised and efficient experience for vehicle owners.
